~ "Where Fine Art Meets Graphic Art" ~

The Artist

I was born & raised on a beautiful ranch in the Colorado Rockies.  My Grandfather arrived in the area on a covered wagon, so ranching has been part of my heritage for generations.

I was very fortunate, ranch life was an ideal setting in which to grow up.  I spent my time exploring the outdoors observing wildlife, horses and cattle.  Being a self-taught Artist, I was highly influenced by my Dad, a true cowboy and artist and encouraged by my creative family.

My "Artistic Journey" began as a child.  I drew on everything that didn't run away, which included homework(much to my teacher's chagrin), rocks, wood, leather and glass which I etched on.  Later I ventured into painting with acrylics which opened up a whole new exciting world!  I also started creating logos for companies and individuals plus designing Promotion Products which included digitizing Embroidery Logos.

Now I've embraced the Digital Era and enjoy creating Graphic Paintings. I use Graphic Art techniques along with my line of Fine Art on many of my designs.

My Artwork has taken me down many exciting paths over the years.  I was honored to be the Featured Artist with several t-shirt designs selected as the "Official T-Shirts" for "Country Jam USA", a large Country Music Festival held in Grand Junction, Colorado, Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Phoenix, Arizona.  I Loved meeting my very cute and new fans...below.

Setting up at large events such as the Las Vegas Event Center and the Denver Merchandise Mart gave me the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and gain a lot of new and wonderful customers and friends.  Designing for Rodeos, Street Rod Car Shows, Balloon Festivals, Resorts, Retail Stores and Tourist Areas has taken me to many exciting places, such as Monument Valley and Moab, Utah, Sedona, Arizona,  Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas and many other places around the country.

Other fun adventures have included designing for "Sony USA", creating a "Charity Rodeo Event" design for Sissy Spacek and Christie Brinkley, and a t-shirt design for Singer Joe Cocker, featuring his Watusi Cattle and "Mad Dog Ranch" in Colorado.
